The Petruk cave - Tips for Travellers
In the Tour region eko-karst South of Gombong, Kebumen,
( near from Jogyakarta) there
was the natural cave that was named the Petruk Cave.This cave
was in the hamlet of Mandayana Desa Candirenggo Kecamatan Ayah,
the Kebumen regency, or around 4,5 km from Jatijajar towards to
the south. This cave could be investigated to the best of 300
metre in the condition was still natural and not many changes
from the the manager's interference.
According to one of the experts in the Cave from overseas said,
that this Petruk Cave was the most beautiful Cave throughout the
Indonesian Archipelago. The Kebumen Regional Government keep
this cave natural. Electrical is not allowed in this cave.

they were accompanied with adequate light equipment. Inside to
the Petruk Cave, as though entering dark bowels of the earths,
but keeping extraordinary beautifull and strange stone.
Because of strangely forms of the stalactite and his stalagmite,
his names then canned be heard strange, hair-raising, or funny,
for example: the stone layon (was similar to the body), bajul
white (was similar to the crocodile), or the helicopter stone,
et cetera. This cave was actually divided into three parts. The
first Part or on the first floor only was gotten by the bat in a
smelly manner was not nicer and flew there come here. Whereas
for the second Cave in this location was given by the name of
the Semar Cave. In this Cave we will be offered with scenery
from the quite beautiful stone and enchanted. Whereas the cave
that was last, was acknowledged as the Petruk Cave, because in
this Cave was gotten the stone that had the shape like his nose
of Petruk.
In Petruk Cave you can see multitudinous beautifull stones, in
this area also you can see an amount of small lake and the
waterfall that in fact his water was similar to the soap foam.
While enjoying the stone that many of various styles and his
form, our ears will listen to the sound tik... tik... tiiiikkkk,
from water that fell from cave sky, or from the beautiful stone,
so as to increase our comfort to witness the Lord's miracle of
the Creator of the Universe.
